Where a new world unfolds…

by Storyteller · Leave a Comment

Join us on a journey to another world. Watch as it unfolds as writer Deborah Carney edits the work of her son into a new and exciting novel. Taking apart a good start to a story and turning it into a great story takes some time… and paper. Yes I still work with paper and pen. And Smart Water, lots of it!

Meet Jason/Jaguar

Ok, not exactly, but we have a black jaguar that is the basis for his character. Black_jaguar-public-domain-image

Meet the Characters

I can't tell you who she is yet, but this image depicts one of the characters perfectly - she might not be in this book - she might be the lead in a sequel - we'll have to wait and see keeper_of_the_golden_opal_by_perlamarina-d55kfhk

About Cathair

This story was written 20 years ago. There wasn't a way to look up this stuff back then. However Cathair is a real entity:

Cathair f (genitive cathrach, nominative plural cathracha)
City
Circular Stone Fort

And an irish name

CATHAIR
GENDER: Masculine
USAGE: Irish
PRONOUNCED: KA-heer [key]
Meaning & History
Means "battle man" from Gaelic cath "battle" and vir "man".

This all fits pretty accurately into the story.
